In this role as the Talent, Learning and Diversity Manager your ability to create, deliver, manage and execute talent, learning and diversity activities for the US division will be a critical component to our success. You'll report to the Marsh Global Talent & Inclusion Leader and lead a team of four to six professionals across the US and Canada. You'll develop and execute on human resource strategies for a complex business model which contains diverse client groups. Given the diversity of the client group, this position requires a leader who has the experience, energy, and discipline to drive change programs in a highly matrixed environment.

Talent
• Partner with regional/functional leadership and HRBPs to identify talent needs at the individual and group level and design, develop, and/deploy solutions such as on-the-job experience, coaching, mentoring, assessment, and/or programs that best meet the need(s)
• Support the annual Talent Review process from design through post-meeting action planning
• Provide both tactical and strategic support to the performance management strategy and annual cycle (goal setting, mid-year, and year-end reviews)
• Apply technical experience in organizational development to support business objectives
Learning
• Consult with business leaders to identify learning needs and manage the design, implementation, and delivery of a wide variety of solutions to support their needs
• Serve as internal expert on latest trends in learning, new technologies, adult learning principles, and vendors in the marketplace
• Deliver training as necessary
Diversity
• Work with D&I Center of Excellence and HR leaders to enhance Marsh's culture of inclusion
• Provide strategic support to Community Resource Group leaders, coordinate with HR and business leaders to drive support and participation across all regions/functions
• Drive employee engagement and ability to attract and retain the best talent in the marketplace
Lead
• Directs a team to design and project manage large-scale and complex talent and learning programs and initiatives and plays a key role in customizing existing resources or developing new solutions to meet targeted group development needs, including executive development and succession planning.
• Coaches junior team members in development and delivery of talent and learning programs and materials to promote team member development.
• Oversees the management and development of vendor relationships and seeks new opportunities and vendors to integrate tools and innovative platforms into existing programs and initiatives.
• Ensures all development programs are aligned to agreed relevant schedule, budget and learning objectives determined by the Global Learning Leader.
• Oversees continuous research and analysis of current talent and learning techniques and platforms to develop strategies and solutions to complex talent and learning problems and concerns.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills (Requirements)
• Bachelor's Degree required, advanced degree preferred
• 12+ years of Talent, Learning, and/or Diversity experience
• Proven track record in creating strategic Human Resources initiatives
• Strong experience designing, developing, and implementing HR processes
• Business success navigating complex matrix environment
• Perform with a sense of urgency without compromising on excellence with a strong commitment to achieving results
• Relationship management, coaching, and collaboration skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Flexible and adaptable
• Influence and consultative skills
