Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to work with the Financial Sponsor Group (FSG) within Global Investment Banking. This person will play an integral role in providing detail-oriented data management support to the FSG team in conjunction with the greater Global Investment Banking team. Under limited supervision and on own initiative, he or she will perform duties in support of the Client Relationship Specialist (CRS) team and senior members of FSG. Activities and duties of the position require proficiency working in Microsoft Excel and the ability to effectively manage databases and CRM systems (preferably Salesforce). The ideal candidate must be able work and excel in a team-oriented, fast paced and deadline-driven environment.
As a Client Relationship Data Specialist (CRDS), you will support the Client Relationship Specialist (CRS) team members by undertaking the following tasks and responsibilities:
• Maintaining FSG team data in internal databases / files and Baird’s CRM system (Salesforce) to capture relevant data coming from both FSG senior bankers and CRS team members, as well as self-directed desktop research and monitoring of trade association updates
• Performing data transfer and clean-up tasks to assist with: 1) the migration of data from excel / word databases and reports into Salesforce and 2) the regular / mass data clean-up of private equity buyer information in internal databases / files and Salesforce
• Preparing weekly reports used by the FSG team and Global Investment Banking team
• Regularly communicating with others in the Global Investment Banking team to request / confirm information for databases, reports or Salesforce
• Providing private equity buyer behavior data and statistics to senior FSG bankers and Global Investment Banking execution deal teams, upon request
• Assisting with the research of private equity firms or the private equity industry
• Assisting with the preparation of internal and external reports and presentation materials in relation to Baird, the Global Investment Banking team, FSG and / or private equity relationships using propriety information from Salesforce
• Performing other duties as assigned

• Previous administrative experience, preferably within Investment Banking or a similar fast moving / deadline driven environment required
