Job Description
The Corporate Communications Manager II is responsible for driving awareness and a positive image among media, Customers and other key influencers through strategic media relations programs, employee engagement programs, and tactics for TD Bank’s entire footprint. The Corporate Communications Manager II manages and supervises day-to-day budget and/or team in a fast pace environment. The Corporate Communications Manager II provides ongoing, regular strategic counsel to executive business partners.
Job Requirements
• Develops and maintains positive influential relationships with key media contacts and business partners
• Counsels senior executives on media opportunities and to enhance their visibility and brand, internally and externally
• Positions executives as thought leaders in the media externally and internally
• Manages crisis communications that may jeopardize stock price and brand image
• Ongoing and continuous development of industry trends, news, cycles, developments to identify and capitalize on opportunities
• Manages the annual Media Relations budget for area of support
• Develops and manages scorecard to validate effectiveness of communications
• Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.
