Position Overview
RGA is looking for a Vice President to help grow and manage the AURA customer base in North America by promoting and demonstration the AURA product suite to RGA customers. This includes developing and managing an active pipeline of opportunities, engaging with customers as the lead AURA contact, and acting as the principle point of contact between RGA and its clients for all client negotiation and pricing. Also act as the primary account manager for AURA customers in North America.

Responsibilities
• Work closely with RGA Business Developers to promote the AURA solution to new and existing clients to increase AURA’s market share and revenues.
• Acts as key lead contact and subject matter expert on behalf of AURA Technologies for both current and prospective clients.
• Presents e-underwriting products and services in a manner that demonstrates complete product knowledge, quality, service, and competitive pricing.
• Oversees all contract negotiations, both new and proposed revisions for their accounts.
• Negotiates acceptable rates/pricing sufficient to acquire deals and meet RGA’s profitability.
• Leads the effort to respond to all RFP/RFI and quotes to ensure accurate and timely completion.
• Monitors key indicators of client relationships, and assures that corrective action is taken when needed. Reviews and monitors profitability and general levels of client satisfaction.
• Acts as an advisor to the client, offering both consultation and service in all aspects of the relationship and contract as well as industry regulation.
• Receives/mediates differences between client and AURA Tech regarding personnel conflicts, policy difference, and virtually anything which may jeopardize a continued business relationship between companies.
• Develops and implements a specific sales strategy for the North America market
• Works with RGA Global Marketing Team and others to develop a marketing strategy for the North America market.
• Represent RGA and AURA as a subject matter expert at various industry conferences.
• Responsible for post mortem analysis of all sales prospects lost.
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance,
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Highly advanced persuasion skills when working with internal partners and external customers to market AURA and resolve issues/problems.
• Advanced knowledge of North America life insurance industry, including products, pricing, competition, practices, relevant insurance regulatory laws, and their impact on products and client company operations.
• Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills, demonstrating the ability to convey business terminology that is meaningful and well received by all stakeholders, including customers and associates.
• Highly advanced knowledge of software and systems including the ability to configure and demonstrate the AURA Solution and explain technical terms and components to clients.
• Exceptional ability to make timely and effective decisions and produce results through strategic planning and the implementation and evaluation of programs and policies.
• Highly advanced ability to foster a teamwork and customer service-focused environment.
• Competent ability to comprehend and interpret insurance and contract documents

• Advanced knowledge of the financial impact of insurance products and reinsurance, and a basic understanding of actuarial concepts and pricing methodology.
• Exceptional ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional and technical disciplines.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of time as needed
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent related work experience
• 10+ years of life insurance, reinsurance or sales experience
Preferred:
• FLMI, CLU or other relevant professional accreditation
