Description
• Design the placement strategy and negotiating with carriers to receive the best terms, conditions, coverage and pricing for the client.
• Develop an effective process and outcome for Property, Casualty, and FINPRO placements.
• Make recommendations to the client and client teams.
• Manage local market relationships. Work closely with the Qualified Solution Group (QSG) Casualty Practice Leader to drive exceptional value for our clients. Work with local and national leaders to achieve proper throughput and uplift.
• Responsible for using risk expertise to analyze client's current and historical exposures, develop solutions, solicit quotes, negotiate with panel markets, analyze comparisons, articulate impact of options and make recommendations to client team and client.
• Responsible for order bind and accuracy of programs based on client direction.
• Participate in pre-strategy meeting to create renewal strategy. Keep abreast of changing risk and insurance market conditions.
Qualifications
• Must have Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Insurance, or a related field, plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or as a Marketing Executive, Risk Advisor, Broker Account Manager, Team Leader, or a related position.
• The employer will accept two (2) years of work experience in meeting the Bachelor's degree requirement.
• Must have five (5) years of progressively responsible experience with: risk management; insurance program design; insurance market conditions; business system and technology; identifying and strategically delivering on process improvements; developing marketing strategies and leading complex negotiations in order to achieve risk-based stakeholder understanding and corresponding results; utilizing Microsoft Suite products, internet applications, and web-based programs; assessing the risk management needs of clients and prospects with respect to their business requirements; identifying, analyzing, and presenting claim documentation to present to underwriters; developing presentations regarding policy analysis, data gathering and client needs to present to clients, prospects, and underwriters; and formulating, developing, and analyzing carrier revenue data to present to senior management.
• Broker's license is required.
