Description
Under supervision, execute all incoming and outgoing US dollar and foreign denominated transfers and drafts as well as the administrative tasks associated with it, including telephone verification, data entry and verification, confirmation production, and daily reconcilement of multiple systems.
Performs operations functions for Wire transfers including but not limited to:
• Execute and settle both domestic and foreign bound (US Dollar & Foreign denominated) transfers via wire system, Federal Reserve, SWIFT Network, JP Morgan Access Online and PNC Pinacle Online
• Execute trace requests amendments, and retrieval of funds as requested
• Produce disclosures for consumer remittance transfers according to Reg E and Dodd Frank Regulations
• Process same day Federal Tax Payments for corporate customers as needed
• OFAC review
• Conduct start of day processes including late day wires, standing and sweep wires
• Conduct end of day processes including daily reconciliation, transmittal of accounting entries to deposit and G/L systems, load archive file, and update ABA, SWIFT and OFAC files as needed
• Creation and delivery of funds transfer, both US Dollar and foreign denominated, confirmations
• Ensure customer initiated wires through Business Online Banking are being processed automatically
Other Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Resolve internal and external customer inquiries and research requests
• Proactively identify potential risks and take corrective action to eliminate and reduce risk
• Support effective information flow between operations, customer facing employees, and service providers
Qualifications
This position has minimum decision making responsibility. The incumbent should be able to perform basic problem solving functions. The role has a fair degree of supervision.
High school diploma and a minimum of 3 years of banking operations experience in the financial industry. Knowledge of government regulations and wire transfers a plus.
The incumbent should possess strong communication and organization skills as well as strong customer service skills and knowledge of general accounting principles. Attention to detail is required as well as the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. Be comfortable in PC environment with experience in MS Office suite products. They must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
