If you answered yes, keep reading! Principal Commercial Real Estate Investors (PREI) is actively seeking an Assistant Financing Consultant to join their team. In this role, you will have a wide variety of responsibilities assisting in the analysis and execution of commercial real estate transactions to meet client investment strategies.
What does that mean for you? Day to day tasks include:
• Reviewing documents including surveys, titles, leases, organizational documents and contracts all for accuracy and appropriateness for the transaction.
• Negotiating with borrowers and third party service providers on various aspects of the loan
• Preparing and negotiating loan documents
• Managing the closing of the transaction

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree with background in business, law, management or economics.
• Prior experience in commercial real estate, with at least 2 years experience dealing with financing issues and structures required.
• Must have strong analytical, negotiation, decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Must be detail oriented with the ability to identify and interpret subtle differences in processes and information.
• Must possess strong communication skills including verbal, written, listening and negotiating skills.
• Must be able to work independently, be results oriented and perform with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to interpret and analyze legal documentation and complex legal structures and issues, assess risk and make recommendations based on independent analysis.
• Must also have strong organizational, project management and planning skills as well as the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple, competing priorities.
• Must be able to demonstrate skills in marketing and customer relations.
• Must be self-directed and motivated to develop job related knowledge through both on the job training and independent review of materials.
