Job TitleDirector, Product Management - Digital Banking
What does a great Director, Product Management – Digital Banking do?
As a Director of Product Management, you will be responsible for driving towards revenue objectives of $100 million through strategic digital banking pursuits for our client base. You will lead digital banking solutions and partnership opportunities that continuously evolve and improve the competitive position of Fiserv’s digital banking offering for the segment that serves the largest financial institutions around the globe.
You will lead the strategic roadmap process, fintech partnerships, evaluation and recommendations, align go to market plans for evolving roadmaps, and lead strategic client collaboration to align market innovation priorities.
Internally, you provide the product guidance, vision, and direction both strategically and operationally for the digital banking platform serving the Innovators market segment and you will get to make the decisions for your product that best position Fiserv to meet the needs of our clients and their customers. This will require tight partnership with technology and support organizations to provide the business direction through the Product Development Lifecycle and Client Support functions.
You will be at the forefront for driving direct customer innovation in the fintech space and those successful deliveries will directly grow revenue for Fiserv and help our clients attract and retain more customers.
Basic qualifications for consideration:
• Minimum of ten years of experience in technology/software related Product Management or financial services Product Management
• Deep understanding of mobile channels required (Native Mobile Apps)
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or technology related field of study
• Consistent track record of navigating complex client relationships that drove positive business outcomes
• Ability to clearly define strategic product objectives and obtain consensus across the organization and with clients
• Knowledge, experience, and proficiency in Product Management standards and practices, with particular appreciation for the end-to-end Product Management discipline
• Confirmed ability to be a visionary with ability to lay out and execute on supporting strategy and tactical plans
• Experience being an advocate for uncompromised end customer experiences
• Confirmed leadership skills and business insight
• Proven ability to understand complex business and technical concepts and to be able to make balanced judgments when faced with trade-offs
• Ability to maintain knowledge of mobile technology and industry trends
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
• Solid thought leadership and ability to influence others through collaborative efforts
• Proficiency in partnering with other organizational units in a highly matrixed company and lead through influence
• Experience having been accountable for revenue goals and targets and alignment of initiatives that achieve financial objectives
Travel required: 25%
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
• MBA or advanced degree a plus
• Product Management experience in Financial Services preferred
• Pragmatic Marketing certification a plus
