Digital Marketing Tools & Platforms Leader
The Digital Marketing Tools & Platforms Leader provides strategic leadership to achieve key marketing and enterprise wide objectives for the digital marketing tools and platforms practice area. Leads team of Product and Platform owners on applicable digital marketing tools and platforms, focused on a defined use and purpose, adoption, ease of use by stakeholders, modernized marketing, relevance with solid revenue and retention results. Responsible for strategy roadmap for tools and their application to enterprise and LOBs needs to meet goals and objectives. This position will implement and execute against a consistent user experience for digital marketing by optimizing effectiveness based upon personas and developed journeys, ultimately leading to a heightened associate and customer experience. This position will work closely with our OneAmerica Information Technology area to ensure knowledge, awareness and alignment with enterprise applications and enterprise IT roadmaps. This area will develop appropriate training and education support framework, digital publishing and campaign processes as well as key success metrics for digital operations. Works with key IT, business and enterprise associates to align vision and strategy.
Strategic
• Provide Strategic thinking and thought leadership, with excellent administration and execution to meet goals and objectives
• Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned areas(s) of responsibility, assess the impact and collaborates with executive and senior management to incorporate findings in current and future strategies
• Leads relevant digital marketing and operations direction through LOB strategy and in collaboration with other departments
• Develops, in partnership with other areas, data integration and data integration roadmap strategy goals
Leadership
• Lead, manage and optimize associates within area of responsibility
Tactical
• Cross Enterprise
◦ Owns OneAmerica Way for Digital marketing Tools and platforms and governance framework as well as operating principles for the area
◦ Responsible for working across the enterprise to align strategy, synergies and execution of prioritized programs and initiatives within the purview of the Digital Marketing Tools and Platforms. Create transparency and communicate frequently the decisions and activity.
◦ Think enterprise wide. Think in “user’s shoes” how to easily make our marketing platform(s) meaningful
• Publish and increase content across all digital platforms, aiming to “break open” the traditional content bottleneck. Includes a digital publishing calendar
• Works in partnership with design UI, UX partners in IT to develop and implement an optimal UX strategy/interface and meta data file tagging strategy and activation
• Create better service for connected customers
• Promote work with newsletters, workshops, presentations, internal blogs
• Expand to predictive models for matching next-best offers with the right customers and prospects
• Multiple levels of analytics across all campaigns, tactics, assets and channels
• Partners with outside digital partners
• Set standards for the use of digital marketing tools and platforms
• Include a metrics plan for each project
Requirements
• Experienced people leader
• Technical expertise in platform governance, management and alignment with IT infrastructure
• Previous experience managing, digital marketing and CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Distributed Marketing platforms, Websites, Social, etc.
• Experience with product ownership and Agile constructs
• Demonstrated successful strategy development, program/project management and delivery of digital marketing tools and platforms, initiatives and results
• Proven success in B2B sales and service ecosystems
• Understanding of direct sales and service ecosystems
• Experience interpreting and communicating with senior leaders
• Strong influencing and collaboration skills with ability to independently drive cross- functional and cross company teams forward.
• Experience driving change management
• Demonstrated ability to drive for results and always keeps the customer in mind
• Highly flexible, very responsive to change in direction and comfortable working in a matrixed organization
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field or equivalent
• Marketing, sales and/or service, insurance, financial services highly desired.
