Opportunity Overview
• Edward Jones Advisory Solutions, which represents roughly 15% of the firm's total assets under care, is the 2nd largest mutual fund advisory program in the industry, encompassing $200 billion in assets within 1 million total accounts. The Investment Advisory Portfolio Construction Team is responsible for the management of both the Research Models and Bridge Builder Mutual Funds found exclusively within Advisory Solutions, including asset allocation, fund/manager selection, and investment oversight.
Associate Analyst I, Portfolio Construction would be responsible for:
• Supporting Portfolio Construction Team in assembling and reviewing investment data, conducting statistical analysis, and preparing investment recommendations.
• Developing the knowledge and analytical skills for investment decision-making by assisting in the asset allocation and manager selection process.
• Delivering quality service to financial advisors and internal departments by responding to information requests.
Position Requirements
• 0-3 years experience in related field preferred
• Finance or Accounting Bachelor's degree and/or MBA preferred
• Successful progress towards completion of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation
• Series 7/63 required or attainable within one year of hire.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and other software programs (Morningstar Direct, Microsoft Office, FactSet, etc.)
