The Sales Manager is responsible for growing sales, revenue, and market share through recruiting, training and developing a strong and highly motivated national sales team. The Sales Manager will work closely with other EPS executive team members to design a state of the art offering.
Responsibilities
• Develops and executes strategy to identify new market opportunities as well as channel opportunities from existing bank clients and influencers, including, but not limited to: Law firms, PE & VC firms and Investment Bankers.
• Establishs and maintains industry relationships with prospects and existing customers / influencers.
• Identifies, attends, and participates in industry events, conferences and association forums to promote WAB’s EPS business.
• Maintains and provides sales and activity reports to EPS president on a periodic (weekly, monthly, quarterly basis), leveraging WAB’s CRM database.
• Develops, implements and executse service quality surveys to clients.
• Meet or exceeds sales targets.
• Develops and manages the entire RFP process from beginning to end.
• Recruits, trains, leads, and motivates the sales team;
• Establishes team and individual goals aligned with the overall business targets.
• Conducts standing sales meetings, one on one coaching sessions, in field training and mentoring.
• Partners with Marketing to develop new marketing programs, collateral, and effective presentations.
• Promotes open communication between Sales, Relationship Management, Client Service, Product Management to maintain mutually beneficial, productive internal relationships.
• Work closely with EPS’s Relationship Management and/or Client Services colleagues to create best-in-class service quality to ensure client retention and promotes client referrals.
Qualifications
• 15+ years of proven sales success in an escrow & payment servicing business line, or a closely related service / industry.
• 5+ years of experience managing and developing a highly effective sales team.
• Proven marketing and promotional ability coupled with excellent communication and public speaking skills.
• Ability to gain a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer requirements.
• Existing deep network of relationships with Law Firms, PE / VC’s and other related influencers / buyers of our services.
• Must be highly organized, a self-starter, detail oriented and productive time manager.
