Basic Purpose:
To support the Investment Counselor and Client Relationship Associate in the administration of accounts of wealthy families and institutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain up to date knowledge of custodial administrative and operational requirements in regards to account maintenance. Work with Relationship Managers and Portfolio Account Specialist to onboard new clients and open new accounts on custodial and EVIC systems. Manage daily service requirements and respond to client requests such as movement of money and bill paying. Establish relationships with custodial contacts and internal departments regarding operations and account maintenance. Carry out reporting requirements related to quarterly statements, communications and distribution. Maintain compliant client records, files and billing information. Work with Senior Client Associates on anticipating the clients’ needs, reviewing account workflows and service requirements.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 1 to 3 years of related experience. Financial Services class work, or customer service and operations experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe and Windows. Interest in learning various software applications as the job requires. Must be organized and have a strong attention to detail. Able to work in a team environment. Interest in career growth in wealth management.
