Commercial Lending Workflow Manager
Overview:
The Commercial Lending Workflow Systems Manager will be responsible for strategically leading the daily utilization and future state direction of the iCL Commercial Workflow system to ensure the platform meets the overall needs of each lending unit, in addition to First Horizon’s regulatory, audit, data governance and reporting requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manages a team of individuals that provide daily production support and system training to end-users.
• Works closely with the vendor Linedata to understand the existing platform’s out of the box functionalities and make recommendations on how these can be utilized to enhance or standardize First Horizon’s lending, regulatory and reporting processes.
• Responsible for collaborating with Enterprise Technology and allocating internal resources to effectively and efficiently manage the development life cycle for each planned system release during the calendar year. Critical portions of the development life cycle include Business/Functional Requirement development, test plan/test case creation, test case execution, defect identification/remediation and Go-Live implementation.
• Responsible for collaborating with critical stakeholders such as system end-users (i.e Portfolio Managers, Credit Analysts, Client Specialists, Market Managers), credit approvers, internal audit partners and regulators to understand their on-going system and reporting requirements and makes recommendations to fulfill those objectives.
• Responsible for working closely with First Horizon’s reporting team to ensure all reporting needs from the system are being met.
• Responsible for collaborating with the Center for Learning and Performance to design and implement a training program that provides a roadmap to successfully onboard new hires, in addition to developing curriculum that ensures new hires continue to cultivate their system skill sets post new hire training.
• Works closely with other Upstream/Downstream application owners to coordinate end-to-end process changes and testing efforts
• May be required to actively participate in other technology or business related projects that will achieve First Horizon’s ongoing commitment to its shareholders, internal partners and regulatory authorities.
Requirements
Experience Required – 6-8 years of banking experience, preferably in the areas of commercial lending process design and implementation. Working knowledge of the Linedata Capitalsteam Commercial Lending Workflow application or similar platform.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Training/Systems
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Familiarity with Systems Development Life Cycle
• Project Management
• Good organizational skills
• Proficient with applicable computer applications such as Microsoft Office
