Profile Summary
We are looking for a Data Coordinator to work within Voya Financial' s Stop Loss Claims Department in our Downtown Minneapolis Office. This position is working on large data dumps in to our proprietary system and organizing, arranging and cleaning that data in a production environment. This role will be working within a fast moving, production environment and require experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Our ideal candidate will have experience using Microsoft Excel and have experience with Pivot tables, freezing rows, applying filters and using Macros.
Profile Description
• Creates claim data spreadsheets, including formatting, formulas, macros and pivot tables to prepare for claim entry. Enters claims into the appropriate administrative systems.
• Determines claim eligibility based on established criteria. Administration of all waiver claims, determining eligibility for continued benefits and offering conversion options for clients whose benefits are reducing or terminating
• Reviews and manages incoming Contracts and Amendments to determine appropriate action based on new or renewal status and premium paid status.
• Working with other team members to coordinate the management of the shared email box.
• Provides excellent customer service by responding in a timely and appropriate manner to all internal and external customer inquiries
• Responsible for performing all tasks within department quality and service level agreement standards.
Knowledge and Experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 –2 years of experience in a production environment
• Good oral and written communication skills
• PC skills, to include word processing
• Previous experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook; to include Pivot Tables and Macros
• Previous Insurance experience is highly preferred
