Job Description
The Data Team Manager is responsible for designing, managing and leading people and projects in support of senior leadership. The incumbent works closely with department leadership, enterprise data strategy leadership and technology partners to develop and execute strategies of medium to high complexity to support business goals. The individual also contributes to the development of new concepts and research designs.
Key Responsibilities:
• As a Company expert, provide strategic direction to Senior leadership on analytical data solutions
• Designs functional/technical strategy in analytical data solutions
• Champion new ideas and initiatives and create an environment that supports innovation and process improvement
• Ensure data as a strategic asset providing trusted, secure, quality data
• Through collaboration with architecture, champion the acquisition of needed tools/software to enhance Product Operation’s ability to make critical designs through insights from analytical data deliverables
• Champion recommended solutions to business problems through cultivating a relationship with technology
• Oversee the design & delivery of the complex data required to support needs of a variety of internal and external stakeholders for predictive modeling and analytics
• Champion the development and deliver training on data sources/tools to enhance internal and external stakeholder ability to analyze the business
• Manage medium to highly complex projects that are cross functional in nature
• Lead and develop team/managers in the skill sets of business analytics, visualization and programming
• Oversees the prioritization and allocation of technology resources and budget

Job Qualifications
Education and Experience
• Bachelors or Masters/MBA majoring in a quantitative field such as Math, Business or Computer Science
• 7+ years of related experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Advanced analytical skills
Strong experience in time and task management and project management including Agile methodologies
Strong attention to details
Ability to engage and influence others
Advanced Microsoft Office skills required
Advanced technology fluency in tools and software/programming languages with key analytic applications (SAS, MySQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, UNIX, OLAP, Tableau)
Advanced written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively collaborate with multi-disciplinary groups and all organizational levels.
Strong presentation skills; ability to guide leadership, clients and partners through strategy and team goals
Proven track record of effectively building and leading a highly technical team
