The primary duties of the Marketing Coordinator are:
• Establishes and implements control standards and reporting processes for regular review of the AAA.com/Discounts online content and applications. Supports department internet/intranet presence by tracking and reporting the online program activity. Coordinates the banner ad placement and reports usage. Makes recommendation based on conducted analysis. Assist in the development, implementation and updating of the Discount Partnerships marketing plans and strategies, including the coordination, preparation, communication, and distribution of the marketing initiatives. Assists in the evaluation of each campaign making recommendations for improvements. Assists in the development of brochures and signage and ensures timely and adequate distribution for monthly materials to the retail offices and call centers. Assists with member inquiries and problem resolution.
• Coordinates the DPP materials needed for marketing, promotion and vendor relationships for all marketing events and coordinates approval process and follow-up on changes for marketing efforts; acts as a liaison between Discounts and Corporate Marketing or Freelance Designer(s.)Conducts preliminary research on pricing options and production schedules for potential marketing channels. Summarizes findings and maintains up-to-date information. Coordinates departmental newsletters.
• Coordinates social media efforts for internal and external publication. Tracks and prepares reports summarizing performance of all marketing campaigns which include tracking the costs related to each campaign and shares relevant marketing updates posted on AICWEB as well as in the general marketplace. Responsible for the timely process of new partner accounts in the member offer database, coordinates the local and regional partner contract renewal and follow up actions, supports administrative functions on AICWEB and local Discounts database. Monitors and responds to incoming member emails for Discounts using Firepond and works successfully with partners on resolution.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations with a focus on Customer Service.
• Extensive PC proficiency with expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
• Ability to move or lift articles, up to 40 pounds.
• Graphic Design Experience – Preferred.
