Description
Huntington Bank provides lockbox services for commercial customers. Lockbox services entail the collection and processing of our customers inbound A/R payments/deposits.
Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00-13:00
Job Requirements:
Under direct supervision, the Lockbox Process Specialist colleague performs a limited variety of assignments including:
• Operate mail opening/sorting equipment (manual and automated)
• Sorting mail.
• Batch deposit creation.
• Data Entry (alpha/numeric).
• Operate Imaging Equipment (Burroughs Sorters, Opex Scanners).
• Combining and Mailing Customer Information.
• Credit Card Processing.
• G/L Cash and Foreign Items Processing.
• Performs QC process on completed work.
• Backup for team lead as needed with daily functions.
-Assists in all functions for completing customer deposits within the customer SLA's.
Basic Qualifications:
• Must work extended hours as needed during peak processing periods.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of data entry experience in an office environment
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Lockbox or check processing experience preferred.
• Banking Operations --Bookkeeping and/or Item Processing experience a plus.

Candidate must be willing to work a variety of tasks and operate several types of Mail Extraction and Check Sorting equipment.
