Allstate Insurance Company has an exceptional career opportunity for a 2nd Shift Claims Processor - Specialty Services Group in Hudson, OH!

As Claims Processor with the Specialty Services Group, you will play a vital role to ensure we deliver on our promise. An SSG Processor is solely responsible for handling one-hour callbacks to our Allstate customers who need emergency services countrywide. Our Team is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is unique in that we are the only Team within Allstate that provides this service to our customers. The SSG 2nd shift processors also provide assistance with file handling and additional segment support to the Hudson Express Office. The 2nd shift team has the opportunity to obtain state licensing for claim handling.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Using compassionate communication to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Working well with others in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Achieving targeted performance goals to manage costs and support Allstate's industry-leading operational standards.
• Manage workflow and overseeing 1-hour callbacks
• Providing support during unexpected increases in our 1-hour callback tasks
• Responsible for quality and quantity of own decisions around processes and issues within the scope of own day-to-day responsibilities
• Concentrates on moderately complex problems requiring an established approach for resolution
• Given multiple work assignments with general guidance provided
• This is for a 2nd shift schedule:
◦ 12:30-11pm or 2:30-11pm (for a 5-day workweek)
◦ A Saturday or Sunday is required
◦ Workweek days TBD

Job Qualifications
6 months of Property Claims experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills
• Strong computer skills - ability to navigate multiple views and systems
• Ability to manage relationships in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate persistence and problem-solving skills while maintaining file follow up
• Ability to communicate compassionately and effectively during difficult conversations
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
• Ability to be a self-starter and work independently
