This is a multi-facet role, responsible for Compliance and Supervisory communications, managing BCMAC projects and training.
Communications:
The role will be voice of supervision. All BCM and Branch Manager questions/answers will be addressed by this role.
This role will work closely with members of CSU, NCO and the Law Department, writing content for compliance policies and procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, writing Field bulletins and Field Communications, maintenance of such content on eDOX/Sharepoint.
This role will be responsible for designing, developing and publishing the content for the weekly Branch Controls Newsletter, which is distributed to Operations and Compliance and the stop-gap of compliance/supervisory changes until the changes are captured in the Compliance/Supervisory manuals, which includes
complex compliance-related topics.
This role will be responsible for content, administration, coordination of the BCM National Call.
Develop and maintain all policies and procedures, forms and checklists for department and Field.
Branch Controls Managers Advisory Committee:
The Branch Controls Managers Advisory Committee (BCMAC) provides guidance to compliance/CSU on policies and procedures. This role will manage BMAC, driving the agenda and projects, ensuring projects are meet on deadlines.
Training:
This role will define/develop and deliver the compliance and supervisory training scope/curriculum. This will cover all aspects of training content across all levels of the Branch Controls Manager. Instructor for classroom style training for new hires to advanced level BCMs.
Develop training materials – which may include: procedures, quick reference guides, FAQs, presentations (live or delivered via conference call), bulletins, FMCs, Newsletter, etc.
• FINRA Series 7 REQUIRED. 24, 51, 63/65 and 66 preferred but will need to obtain after hire.
• 8+ years of compliance and supervisory experience
• 5+ years of Financial Services experience
• Excellent writing and communicating skills.
• 4+ years of Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
• Bachelor Degree preferred but not required (Any discipline)
• Life & Health license preferred
