This position provides relationship management for the department working with Third Party Administrators (TPAs) to build relationships and deliver customer services that build customer loyalty. This position is responsible for the establishment of new TPA relationships and the ongoing support for existing TPAs.
Essential Job Functions
TPA Sales and Business Development
• Identify high potential TPAs in each of the relevant RVP territories.
• Use Judy Diamond to compile data for active TPAs in each territory and determine preferred RKs for TPAs. Identify emerging TPAs looking to grow with limited loyalty to RKs.
• Identify and create a strategy for Producing TPAs. (Pinnacle, TAG)
• Develop no more than 2 TPA "focus firms" per territory so we know where to invest (top 50 TPAs nationally).
• Develop TPA Loyalty program for top producing TPAs within the top 50. We can decide whether we pay service fee income bonuses or provide marketing support or other non-monetary support programs for hitting production thresholds. Work with the Sales VPs and National Sales Director to create program.
Onboarding of New TPA Relationships
• Owner of Affinity & Installation Allowance Agreements,
◦ TPA Rev share agreement and point of sale documents to reflect variable Service Fee Income (SFI) or multiple EBA payments, Service Agreement w TPA in general terms (LEGAL)
◦ E/O Coverage
• Main contact for all Sales/Distribution related questions
• Ensures the TPA is accurately added to Salesforce
• Ensures the TPA is accurately added to OMNI
• Conducts Welcome Call to introduce TPA to Ameritas and walk them through the website
◦ Maintains TPA Training modules (webinars) for new contacts at TPA's
Compensation, Billing, and RP Support
• Works with the Billing Team to ensure accurate payments to TPA's
◦ Main decision maker along with billing on how statements go out and ensures accuracy
◦ Main contact for questions from TPA's. These questions will no longer be passed to Billing.
◦ Works with Billing & RP Support to make sure that invoices/payments for TPA's are handled effectively and accurately
◦ Billing & RP Support's point of contact for all future enhancements to ensure process is efficient and effective
TPA Relationships/Maintenance
• Handles all ongoing TPA requests including name changes, contact changes, billing account changes, etc
• Maintains Master File of all TPA's and contact information
• Ensures the Service Strategy for TPA's aligns with overall service model (CSC assignments)
• Runs internal NPS score meeting with stakeholders and develops detailed plans to address gaps and accentuate strengths. "Sells" Gang of X and Exec Comm on TPA enhancements and investing in infrastructure
• Will serve as the voice within Retirement Plans for all TPA related questions/concerns from a project perspective.
◦ Will be included in all projects/initiatives to properly represent TPA interests
◦ Responsible for tracking/initiating new enhancements for TPA's
◦ Develops productive and strategic relationships with TPA's over time
# TPA Council comprised of a diverse collection of TPA contacts for recommendations and feedback
TPA Conferences
• Main point of contact for TPA Conferences. In charge of budget, conference attendance, and thoughtful impact of Ameritas at the conferences.

Requirements
• A bachelor's degree and 5-7 years' experience required, preferably in the retirement plans industry and/or with relationship management involving Third Party Administrators.
• This individual must be able to multi-task with the ability to take a vigorous hands-on role in developing and directing multiple administrative functions and processes.
• Strong analytical skills, with the capacity to absorb and synthesize all aspects of a problem and develop solutions in a logical and creative manner.
• Superior negotiation and leveraging skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong multi-level relationships. Must be persuasive and tactful when negotiating and dealing with external and internal customer and partners.
• The incumbent must project a professional image and exhibit partnering skills and a commitment to customer service.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to generate excitement about the organization and a desire among associates to strive for excellence, consistently modeling a customer-focused approach
