Capital Markets Managing Director II - Sales (M)(F)

Job Profile
• Directs a team of sales professionals to drive sales activities and strategies for a specific product(s) or transaction(s); manages and develops select client relationships. Provides superior client experience. Ensures compliance with risk and regulatory requirements. Assists senior Leadership with strategic planning for the group as needed.
• Partners with sales team, relationship managers, investment bankers, traders and other internal service partners to develop, market and deliver complex capital markets solutions to our clients.
• Provides appropriate solutions based on in-depth assessment of client objectives and market conditions. Develops and maintains client and/or investor relationships. Allocates client coverage to optimize alignment.
• Coordinates the execution of sales and marketing strategies including new product development, structuring, and distribution, to maximize sales and new business activity.
• Continually develops knowledge of industry and market developments, deal flow and regulatory requirements. Enforces compliance with policies and regulations. Provides coaching and leadership to develop the line of business.

FINANCIAL SERVICES INDUSTRY - Extensive Experience
• Knowledge of financial services industry trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations and trendsetters; ability to provide specific financial knowledge and experience to help organizational development.
Trading - Extensive Experience
• Knowledge of and ability to engage in the transfer of financial assets in any financial market on behalf of an investor in order to capitalize on short-term trends.
SALES FUNCTION - Subject Matter Expertise
• Knowledge of and the ability to conduct daily and strategic activities in an organization's sales function.
KNOWLEDGE OF CUSTOMERS - Subject Matter Expertise
• Knowledge of various types of customers and ability to analyze customer activities, profiles and information.
Required Education and Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree and higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications. Industry -relevant experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. Proven leadership experience with a large scope of responsibility is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
