The Integration Specialist works under the day-to-day direction and supervision of the Project Analysis Supervisor and the Senior VP, Projects & Technology. This position is part of the Projects & Technology department and provides integration and administrative support for the Client Care and Project Analysis Teams as well as general office support functions.
Primary Functions
• Develop and maintain closed loop systems and processes for the processing and management of carrier changes in various systems including the various carrier systems and in HUB's practice management software, Benefit Point. (Includes validations and processing of the data, quality gates, and auditing components to ensure accurate and timely processing)
• Develop and maintain closed loop systems and processes for processing member eligibility activities including member additions, changes, and deletions in the various carrier systems and in Benefit Point. (Includes validations and processing of the data, quality gates, and auditing components to ensure accurate and timely processing)
• Assist with developing and implementing HUB's processing standards.
• Act as a quality gate and provide quality controls for all data that is submitted for processing.
• Accurately input all data into the appropriate systems within the required timeframes.
• Create and maintain an organized activity tracking system to show the current status of all carrier change and enrollment activities.
• Create and generate meaningful reports from the activity tracking system and present the reports regularly to management.
• Develop and maintain clear and concise documentation of all workflows, procedures, processes and good practices.
• Constantly look for ways to improve efficiencies and effectiveness in all systems and practices.
• Develop and deliver training on the integration functions to other Client Service team members.
• Create and maintain an organized filing system for all carrier change and eligibility processing activities.
• General administrative support for the Client Service teams.
• Answer the team phone and communicate effectively with clients, taking notes and messages as needed.
• Answer main line telephone as needed to assist or redirect.
• All other duties and special projects as assigned.
The candidate must be able to operate both independently and in a team setting. She/he must be organized with heavy attention to detail. She/he must have a client service mentality with active listening skills and able to effectively communicate with our clients, team members, and management. The candidate must also be proficient with using Microsoft Office products especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Skills, Experience and Abilities
• Education: 2 years of college. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Licenses and Credentials: Must have or be willing to obtain a North Carolina Life and Health Insurance Licenses within 60 days of employment
◦ HUB will schedule and pay for the Life and Health classes and for passing the state license exams.
• Knowledge and Expertise:Basic understanding of group health and employee benefits including ancillary coverage such as life, disability, and dental insurance is preferred
