Job Responsibilities
1. Employee Management
Provides oversight of staff in 12 countries, with input on selection, counseling, appraisals and recognition; recommending salary, promotional, disciplinary, termination, and other personnel actions
2. Facilities Management
Provide leadership and direction for the efficient operations and maintenance of all facility
electrical, mechanical, structural, and life safety
3. Client Service/Satisfaction
Develop and maintain positive client relationship and provide conflict resolution and solution analysis; identifying or partnering with other internal areas to deliver more specialized service to client. Develop and implement innovative programs, processes and procedures that reduce short and long term operating costs and increase productivity by working closely with the Account Executive on the account and the client.
4. Compliance
Provides contract compliance management and quality control. Maintain compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Service Levels pertaining to Quality, Financial, Operational, and Strategic metrics.
5. Budgeting/Reporting
Preparation of portfolio detailed budgets for operations and oversight for individual country budgets, variance reports, forecasts and preparation of regular and ad-hoc reports
6. Any and all other duties and tasks assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
MINIMUM REQUIRED PREFERRED
Education/training
College degree -BA/BS in specialized areas like Engineering and communications/business
Years of relevant experience
10+ years
Skills and knowledge
Strong knowledge of building systems, data center, UPS, electrical, mechanical, HVAC etc. Managerial experience required with proven budget and personnel responsibilities. Strong knowledge and experience working and managing staff and vendors in both Central and South America
Other abilities
Excellent communications both written and verbal; strong presentation and negotiation skills. Must be able to speak and write in English, Spanish and Portuguese fluently
Physical work requirements and work conditions
Regular and predictable attendance to support the needs of the business and client which will require international travel at the account executive’s discretion and approval
