Director, Global Commercial Product Management
Overview
The Global Travel and Entertainment product management team, part of Mastercard’s Commercial Products team, oversees the products, platforms and services that bring safe, smart and simple payment solutions to corporate travelers all over the world. In partnership with our bank customers and client account managers in each region, we develop the best go-to-market approach for these solutions to deliver best-in-class customer experiences to our end-users.
We also are redefining the direction of our products to better position them for a future where Mastercard’s role in corporate travel payments is increasingly digital and data-driven, and where the environment is made more complex by the diverse needs of a modern global businesses. We are looking for a new team member who can assist us in identifying opportunities to refresh the value proposition of our business travel payments products and the data infrastructure that supports it.
Role
Primary Duties / Responsibilities
• Manage and support Mastercard T&E payment products and services including corporate card, central travel Solutions, virtual account solutions and enhanced travel data
• Manage data services with travel management companies, hotel and airline partners, global distribution systems and expansion into new travel service categories and providers
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop enhancements that position our business for expanded growth and improved end-to-end business traveler experience
• Define go-to-market plans jointly with Regional / Country teams
• Provide T&E thought leadership with key internal stakeholders, our issuers and the broader travel ecosystem
All About You
• Strong background in product management and strategy development
• Demonstrated experience in developing innovative products with tangible business impact
• Strong understanding and knowledge of large corporate Travel and Entertainment business, segment/economics, methodologies and approaches
• Detailed understanding of product management process and principles and the end-to-end product development lifecycle
Proven track record in establishing and managing strategic partnerships
• Demonstrated results working across functional groups and markets to synthesize product requirements and investment priorities into compelling value propositions for customers
• Strong ability to influence and build consensus across a variety of internal business units and levels of leadership, external partners & clients, and service providers
• Strong financial analysis, modeling acumen
• Superior communications, presentation and interpersonal skills including the ability to work with and influence people across a matrix organization at all levels
