Overview:
We are looking for a highly effective and driven Director of Sales to manage and lead our Enterprise Account Executive sales team for State & Local and Education US Market.
Responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to:
• Recruiting, motivating, coaching and mentoring the national sales team to achieve and surpass quota through appropriate use of the Customer Engagement Lifecycle. Build a solid sales pipeline, focusing on enterprise wide solution selling, enforcing solid sales processes that provide a disciplined approach for successful value based selling methodologies, and establishing accurate sales booking forecasting procedures.
• Overseeing the implementation of the AvePoint Customer Engagement Lifecycle by defining the appropriate go to market (GTM) model including targeting specific key market sub-segments, associated market offerings, and competitive strategies
• Monitoring and managing financial and organizational metrics on a quarterly basis and adjusting the business as required to meet objectives
• Building trusted advisor relationships and a high level of integrity with customers, partners and AvePoint leadership team members
• Overall accountability for a high level of customer satisfaction within the region
• Identifying key SI and other Alliance relationships that can deliver incremental booking opportunities to the sales team.
• Assign quotas, develop career plans, and consistently monitoring the sales activity of the team, and tracking the results.
• Assist executive level with developing strategic direction and initiatives.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Partner Account Managers to assist in further driving effective partnerships and brand awareness.
Qualities and attributes that you’ll need to be a fit for this role include:
• BA/BS College Degree
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales
• 5+ years Public Sector - SLED sales experience as an individual contributor
• 2+ years of Public Sector – SLED Sales management experience
• Proven history of successful business planning and execution while exceeding quota targets
• Strong skills in communication, negotiation, organization, and teamwork
• Ability to travel approximately up to 75%
• High level of Accountability & Sense of Urgency
