Job Description:
NKF’s Capital Markets Debt and Structured Finance Team is seeking a full-time dedicated Research Analyst to support its growing platform.
Essential Job Duties:
• Maintaining a research database, tracking assets by property type, current debt terms, and ownership
• Regularly syncing this data with live leasing updates, general property economics, and other noteworthy events
• Conducting weekly pipeline update meetings with the Debt Execution Team
• Formulating and sending weekly and monthly Capital Markets Update Reports to clients of the firm
• Working in collaboration with NKF’s Research, Valuation, and Leasing teams
• Day-to-day program tools: Excel, RCA, TREPP, Reonomy, CoStar, Bloomberg, REIS, Fitch, Moody’s, S&P, etc
• The candidate should be a motivated self-starter; responsive; and able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• May perform other duties as assigned
Skills, Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in economics, real estate, finance, urban planning or business administration)
• Minimum 2-3 years professional experience in commercial real estate analysis
• Proficient in Excel
• Extensive database and project management experience
• The candidate should be a motivated self-starter; responsive; and able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical, writing and communication skills
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
