Job Description:
We are seeking a detailed oriented and motivated Marketing Analyst in Boston, MA. The Marketing Analyst will work closely with the Assistant Vice President of Marketing and report directly to the Production Operations Manager at Berkeley Point Capital. The chosen candidate will assist with firm communications including, all print/digital collateral materials, press releases, social media updates, advertising, sponsorships and more. The candidate will support the firm’s operational and sales departments in all communications and promotions and help to consistently drive the company’s messaging throughout the industry.
Essential Job Duties:
• Manage assigned projects within tight timelines and budget for company-hosted events, including the coordination of the agenda and speaker line-up, the drafting and editing of marketing collateral, invites and promotions, and collaborating effectively with event planner and/or third party vendors
• Support regional and corporate events, and work with sales to maximize and track attendance
• Interface with industry association representatives to coordinate industry sponsorships and memberships, and summarize sponsorship options for management’s consideration
• Assist with population and maintenance of the content calendar for the firm’s internal and external websites, as well as social media platforms
• Assist in the closed transaction process by helping with press releases, adding all news to firm’s website and social media
• Assist in and support projects related to the creative development of marketing collateral and tools, and special campaigns in all media types including print and digital
• Manage general marketing housekeeping items that include: updating all collateral on an ongoing and timely basis to reflect product changes and compliance, assist in planning and executing events, track invites, RSVPs and attendees, create post-event and project surveys; track marketing expenses on an ongoing and timely basis, assist with sales team requests as needed, order client gifts and giveaways, among other tasks
Skills, Education and Experience:
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and the Adobe Suite, particularly Photoshop and/or Illustrator
• Demonstrated proficiency in project and time management, with an ability to effectively manage multiple competing and different projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Strong competency in writing and demonstrated skill in thorough editing
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently with third party vendors, keeping an eye on cost containment and project timelines
• Strong interest in the creative design process across all marketing activities
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment while keeping management apprised of project status
• Strong ability to communicate project status and offer constructive suggestions and feedback , and a mindset to be engaged in all corporate marketing initiatives
• Poise and professionalism when representing the company at various industry conference and company sponsored events
• Experience with planning and promoting company-sponsored events a plus
• Experience with WordPress or basic html a plus, but not required
• Willingness to travel ~10%
