You are responsible for working with stakeholders and subject matter experts to elicit, analyze, document, communicate, and manage requirements. The position requires an individual with exceptional skills in areas such as communication, leadership, facilitation and presentation. Must have highly accomplished personal organizational and management abilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong drive for results, interpersonal skills, and positive attitude. Must be comfortable managing and coordinating cross functional teams.
Qualifications
• 3-5 years of experience as a product owner
• Experience writing user stories and use cases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required
• Experience in product management, project management is preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information technology or related fields is preferred
• Experience in information design and user scenarios is a plus
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), and PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) is a plus
• Business analyst experience is a plus
Responsibilities
• Ability to translate business needs into features, epics, and requirements, then into actions, using tools such as process modeling, creation of other visual models, user stories, use cases, functional requirements, and capturing effective user acceptance criteria
• Ability to facilitate critical discussions and lead events with stakeholders at various levels across organization
• Ability to demonstrate exceptional problem solving skills
• Ability to make recommendation for continuous improvement
• Ability to demonstrate high quality collaboration and working relationship skills
• Ability to consistently demonstrate accountability and ownership
• Ability to effectively engage organizational escalation
• Ability to prioritize work and manage ambiguity through problem identification and resolution
• Ability to lead other team members
• Ability to communicate effectively with others across the organization including effectively translating business needs into solutions
• Acts as the backlog representative, and as one of the leaders, for one or more small Agile development teams
