Position Summary:
Responsible for coordinating, conducting, reviewing and/or documenting efforts involving financial close processes, analysis, ad hoc requests, research and special projects.
Position Description:
• Coordinates, conducts reviews and/or documents and efforts involving financial close processes, analysis, GAAP and Statutory reporting requirements, ad hoc requests, research and special projects.
• Directs and/or reviews the work of financial analysts.
• Conducts or participates in complex financial analysis projects.
• Provides advice and direction to less experienced financial analysts.
• Develops and maintains financial metrics and reporting and tracking tools to assist in financial review and analysis of results.
• Analyzes statistics and makes recommendations for improvements of work flow and systems to management.
• Delivers succinct and clear summarizations of analysis tailored to the needs of different customers.
• Able to manage multiple, often competing priorities.
• Other duties as assigned
Knowledge & Experience:
• BA degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience
• Good understanding of accounting principles
• PC skills (Microsoft Office)
• 5+ years accounting experience preferred
