Purpose of Position:
Organize, manage, and optimize the risk management and credit underwriting processes within AGCO Finance for both retail and inventory finance, supervise credit members and provide knowledge, expertise and approval on complex transactions and exceptions. This position also supports joint venture in achieving their targets and is a member of the N. America JV leadership team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Contribute to development/formulation of strategy, objectives and business plan of AGCO Finance
• Implement credit and risk policies, processes, systems, methods, procedures, mandates and tools for JV in order to set the basis and preconditions for achieving the credit and risk management objectives in an optimal structured way
• Lead/participate in various company projects involving risk and/or other departments
• Monitor and manage country credit/risk profile of retail and IF portfolio on higher aggregation level (and in depth as necessary), in order to ensure effective and efficient management of credit/risk portfolio and process and thereby minimizing risks in the short and long term
• Inform and liaise with all JV, corporate parties, risk committees and Vendor/Partner on developments in credit/risk profile portfolio.
• Signal opportunities for improvement, then initiate and manage needed corrections
• Ensure and execute adequate and timely management of the application process of accounts with higher complexity and high risk factor cases and participate in risk committees, in order to minimize risks in the short and long term for the specific applications
• Decide on credit applications within authorization level
• Participate in joint AGCO and AGCO Finance management committees
• Ensure compliance with regulations, laws, and internal policies
• Ensure all credit and risk periodical and ad hoc reporting is completed accurately and timely in order to provide management information as a basis for decision making and fine tuning on credit and risk issues
• Ensure information, support, training and align all JV parties on credit and risk management policies, processes and issues in order to achieve and cultivate a sound risk organization and risk awareness culture
• Manage and liaise with all business relations and stakeholders with respect to credit and risk portfolio management and the representation of JV, in order to ensure optimal working relationships and alignment as a precondition for minimizing risks
• Ensure staff quality, quantity, and motivation
Qualified Candidates Will Have:
• Bachelor degree, MBA a plus
• 10+ years experience in the field of credit/ risk analysis, underwriting and risk management
• Expert knowledge of vendor/client programs, score card techniques, financial analysis, regulations, and credit/risk management policies
