Email Marketing Strategist
Our Talent Acquisition group is looking for a senior recruitment marketing strategist to develop, manage, and optimize candidate email marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for using data and insights to develop segmented campaigns, define the creative, write content, deploy campaigns, and analyze and optimize results. This role requires someone who can stay on top of trends, devise creative solutions, work in a collaborative environment, as well as apply consumer marketing best practices to the talent marketing space.
You’re the ideal candidate if you can:
• Work with cross-functional teams in the planning, development and execution in email marketing programs to passive talent and past applicants
• Devise audience segments and create content that resonates with them
• Act as a subject-matter expert on email marketing and lead generation
• Optimize emails and create performance benchmarks through testing and analysis
• Ensure database health, list growth and quality assurance
• Understand and keep track of compliance guidelines
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related work experience in a marketing role
• In lieu of a degree, must have 7 years of related work experience in a marketing role
• Vast online knowledge with experience in digital advertising, social media and content marketing with some subject-matter expertise
• Knowledge of media planning and placement, including the ability to align creative with the appropriate media approach
• Understands most elements of brand marketing and how to effectively deploy them
• Demonstrated ability to manage the creative development process and a variety of complex marketing projects end-to-end, with limited involvement from manager
• Able to apply qualitative and quantitative consumer research learnings in the creative development process; monitors results and takes action as needed
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; able to present ideas/perspectives in visual and convincing way
• Demonstrates credibility by building strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong customer service orientation and problem solving/negotiation skills
• Excellent organizational skills - ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a high-volume work environment where guidelines and deadlines often change
• PC proficiency with solid working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Sharepoint
