The Global Premium/Claims Analyst will be responsible for reconciling premium/claims received from various countries. This includes reconciling activity between expected and actual premiums received, variance reporting, reporting of actual results, and foreign currency exchange rate analysis. This position will have direct communication with various domestic and foreign entities which will require excellent communication and problem resolution skills.
• Reconcile incoming premium payments from various countries
• Reconcile claims activity from various countries
• Prepare variance reporting and work directly with global partners to resolve outstanding variances
• Assist in the problem solving of discrepancies
• Analyze foreign currency exchange exposure
• Prepare and provide country level reporting
• Prepare internal management reporting
• Communicate results effectively with internal and external contacts
What we are looking for
• Degree in Accounting field preferred but not required
• 5-7 years accounting experience and/or experience with data compilation in Excel
• Experience with foreign currency is beneficial
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Must be a self-starter and willing to work overtime when needed
• Ability to multi-task within multiple software applications
• Team player with good problem-solving skills who is willing to learn
