Job Description
The Client Incentive Operations team are responsible for managing Client Incentive Issuing and Merchant agreements. We determine the accounting treatment of each incentive deal is to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conformity with US GAAP. This is an individual contributor role, responsible for managing the overall project related to the adoption of the new revenue recognition standards
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide oversight, coaching, guidance, feedback, and continuous development opportunities to team members
• Provide a first-level review and approval of incentive models or other deliverables prepared by analysts to ensure accurate models in accordance to contract clauses, accuracy of data, proper application of technical accounting policy in accordance to both ASC605 and ASC606, and compliance with SOX controls
• Provide technical accounting guidance and feedback to team members as appropriate. Review proforma and Accounting Treatment to ensure accuracy of contract interpretation and application of Visa's accounting policy respectively
• Review on-going contract performance, and update future performance /amortization schedules, as needed. Analyze and explain/review the variances between forecasted and actual contractual commitments and prepare the necessary adjustments
• Prepare or review monthly estimated amortization and payment schedules per contract terms and Visa's Accounting Policy. Assist in the resolution of related issues and discrepancies
• Create complex incentive models to determine contractual commitments per the terms of the contract, ensuring that all key obligations have been accurately addressed
• Provide timely reporting to External Reporting and Accounting Operations
• Assume liaison role between Client Incentive team and external audit teams to coordinate all related activities
• Provide support for our system for all regions globally. Liaise with IT team to resolve any issues and lead enhancements. Understand the business needs and business process globally, and collaborate with IT for solution
• Lead or support projects as needed, such as conversion of existing contracts currently managed in Excel to a new system
• The candidate will interact with various levels of management across the organization as well as with external clients. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are required to support cross-functional projects

Qualifications
• B.S. degree in business/accounting required with 7-9 years’ experience in audit, finance, accounting or statistical reporting
• CPA preferred
• Must demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills
• Strong analytical and modeling skills
• Team player with the ability to establish strong relationships with business partners
• Must be self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Attention to detail and diligence in driving results
• Proficient with advanced Excel skills
