Job Description
Allstate's Unified Customer View – Technology Solutions (UCV-TS) team is responsible for delivering new functionality to support the UCV data platform by providing the business with a 360 view of customer information across all channels. The Quality Control Automation Analyst supports quality control automation. The analyst develops business and technical requirements, test specifications and scripts, and work estimates. The analyst designs and implements test automation architecture and assists with resolving test environment issues.
Job Responsibilities
• Obtain a deep understanding of the UCV services
• Review and understand all requirements and automation framework needed to support the building of the automation test bed for UCV services
• Develop automation test plans and test specifications for each sprint based on defined testing standards and scope
• Create traceability matrix to ensure coverage of requirements and test scenarios in the automated test scripts
• Execute automated test scripts and validate functional requirements
• Design, modify, develop, write and implement test automation architecture and framework
• Develop, support, and maintain repeatable test scripts and packages
• Insert process improvements into the testing lifecycle to avoid repeated issues
• Document and communicate status on testing activities
• Collaborate with members of the product team on defect resolution
Job Qualifications
• 5+ years experience in test automation development
• Expertise and detailed knowledge of Soap UI Pro/ Ready API, Load Runner and Unix scripting
• Experience working in an Agile delivery model
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of ITIL Processes
• Ability to work in a high-paced team environment
Desirable Criteria
• Previous experience working with TIBCO and Java
• Experience building CICD pipeline with test driven development
• Previous experience working with relational databases (preferably ORACLE)
• Previous experience working with Non-SQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)
• Previous experience with Initiate Infosphere 11.5
