The Loan Support Officer/Junior Analyst is responsible for gathering credit information on current and potential borrowers; assists loan officers in writing loan requests; promotes business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services. The Loan Support Officer is also responsible for assisting loan officers in soliciting, negotiating, underwriting and coordinating the closing of routine or difficult loans in compliance with the Bank’s lending policies and procedures.The loan officer provides administrative support to the Arizona Region including office management, interview setup and onboarding assistance, travel arrangements, and calendar scheduling.
Responsibilities:
• Administrative support for the Region, including office management, coordinating 2018 office relocation, floor warden and primary interface for landlord services, calendar and travel scheduling
• Assist RMs in coordinating processing of approved loans
• Coordination with TM support and depository services for Region
• Liaison with Note Department for client management
• Oversight of tickler compliance; contact clients for information and reporting requirements
• Manage compliance with Fee/Income report
• Event planning and coordination with marketing
• Oversight of regional reporting on CRM system and preparation of reports
• Coordinate customer requests for advances, wire transfers and payments, as needed
• Assists RMs in processing of approved loans; ensures loans are processed according to agreement
• Obtains information and/or documentation from customers and prospects; solves problems relative to processing and servicing of loans
• Work with HR for onboarding of new hires
• Interface with IT on regional needs
• Potential backup support with Moody’s spreads
Qualifications
• Associates Degree form a (2) year college; and two (2) years of related experience and/or training; or a High School Diploma or (GED) and the equivalent combination of education and experience.
◦ Work related experience should consist of a financial analyzing, processing or lending background.
◦ Administrative Support experience (office managment, etc..)
◦ Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related.
• Ability to train and assist junior lending specialists as needed.
• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
