Here’s Where You Come In
We are currently seeking an Associate Account Manager to join our growing Commercial Lines Insurance team. You’ll be supporting the day to day needs of our Account Managers, insureds and managing the executions of the client renewal. Other tasks include assisting in carrier correspondence, billing inquiries, providing a full account review at renewal and updating insured info in our agency management system (EPIC).
Role Expectations
• Provide administrative support for department Account Managers
• Effectively communicate with account managers and clients via email, phone and in person mediums.
• Handle incoming correspondence from lenders.
• Ability to handle billing questions from our clients and utilize carrier resources for solutions.
• Reach out to clients to gather information when necessary per account manager and/or carrier request.
• In conjunction with Account Managers, re-market our clients as needed and bind coverage
• Review accounts that have been flagged on policy renewal reports and communicate with Account Managers on re-market strategy.
• When prompted from an Account Manager, review and/or re-market client accounts and provide feedback to the Account Manager or direct to the client.
• Make contact with clients prior to renewal advising of review in process.
• Prepare renewal summaries document in client database for VIP Clients.
• Prepare coverage renewal checklist for pro-active client segments.
• Proactively assist with communication between carriers and Account Managers
• Review and update agency management system for Company requests.

Required Qualifications
• Valid Michigan Property/Casualty insurance license or ability to obtain license within 30 days
• Superior customer service and problem solving skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects with individual deadlines
• 1-2 years office experience
Preferred Qualifications
• 1 year experience and demonstrated proficiency in insurance account management role
• CISR Designation
• Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, EXCEL, EPIC and ACS2000 Rate
