A day in your life as a Dealer Banking Assistant:
Under the direction of the Dealer Indirect Lending Operations Supervisor, this position is responsible for performing a variety of functions as required to meet departmental objectives. Assists in business unit’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements and Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to Fair Banking, Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act. In addition, this position is responsible for demonstrating the Excellence in Sales/Service (ESS) philosophy by participating in and practicing ESS discipline and behaviors.
We’ll give you these important responsibilities…
• Performs various functional tasks including but not limited to: indirect loan or lease contract processing, indirect loan or lease documentation, dealer or customer correspondence. Handles large volumes of work quickly and accurately and manages tasks in rotational assignments.
• Communicates with internal/external clients in a professional manner. Identifies customer needs. Utilizes key Excellence in Sales and Service techniques and tools to meet sales objectives and financial goals and to provide the highest professional level of service to internal and external clients.
• Responsible for maintaining, enhancing and deepening relationships with assigned Dealer clients as well as developing new business.
• Provides Team Support and assists in cross training of staff.
• Maintains full knowledge of products and services. Sells and cross-sells products and services.
Qualifications

Education:
• High School diploma or G.E.D.
Experience:
• Minimum one year of banking, customer service, sales or equivalent work experience.
Levels of Supervision required:
• Ability to perform the job functions under close supervision
Technical Skills:
• Demonstrated proficiency and expertise with personal computers in a networked environment and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel or Power Point) or similar software.
• Knowledge of or ability to use Bank software.
Other Job Qualifications:
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be analytical, accurate, detail oriented and organized.
• Must be able to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities and a large volume of work.
• Should have good interpersonal and math skills.
• Must be flexible in performance of tasks in rotational assignments.
• Able to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends and evenings as needed or assigned.
• Must be able to provide own transportation or to operate a vehicle with a valid driver’s license, and able to commute and arrive at intended destination in a timely manner and/or as required.
• Able to travel to various locations in Hawaii, Guam or Saipan in a timely and efficient manner.
• Must be able to push/lift 25 lbs.
