Opportunity Overview
Edward Jones Client Experience team is seeking to hire a Senior Digital Project Leader.
The Senior Project Leader will lead the strategic execution of large & medium projects that contribute to an unparalleled digital client experience, in support of Edward Jones Online Access & mobile app. These efforts require a high degree of collaboration with business partners from across the firm across Marketing, CSG, Information Systems, other divisions of Edward Jones, and/or vendors.
This associate will understand the client journey and the role & metrics their projects must deliver against in order to strengthen the client experience. This associate will act as the primary business project leader and deep subject matter expert in the development of new and existing programs. This includes developing program plans, developing & signing off on requirements, assisting with IS development, testing and successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead projects in support of the Edward Jones client experience
• Leverage a strong technical acumen and digital product management knowledge
• Develop strategic execution plan for large & medium consumer & advisor-facing digital projects
• Lead complex initiatives and cross-divisional working teams—experienced with agile product management
• Understand client needs & develop user stories to ensure digital project meets business objective
• Manage project & products against KPIs to measure effectiveness and make recommendations to improve/optimize.
• Develop requirements in partnership with cross-divisional team members and key stakeholders that clearly articulate and define the business area needs
• Develop product roadmap for initiatives
Position Requirements
• Bachelor's degree with a concentration in communication, marketing, finance, web development or information management preferred or related/equivalent work experience.
• Experience with project and/or functional leadership in the industry in increasingly responsible positions, including 5+ years of experience leading projects.
• 5+ years of experience in technical project leadership in consumer marketing team, preferably financial services, showing increasing level of responsibility
• Understand how to communicate technical and complex topics to specific audience/personas with direct and develop content for associates and branch teams.
• Deep understanding of digital & agile best practices
• Project management certification preferred within one year of assuming the role
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and processes in a dynamic, matrix environment.
• Effectively build strong relationships to influence and gain consensus at all levels, including executive.
• Experience leading or formally mentoring project team members
• Strong understanding of design principles with ability to reinforce brand standards
• Thorough understanding of financial products and services and requirements regulating marketing them preferred.
