Jackson National Life Distributors LLC (JNLD) has an opening for an Administrative Assistant.
Job Purpose
The Administrative Assistant provides a full range of administrative support and/or for a senior executive. Duties include managing calendars, making travel arrangements, meeting and event coordination, preparing reports, creating and editing documents in Word and Excel, and developing PowerPoint presentations. This is a position with a great deal of interaction with employees and other departments at all levels.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Responsible for maintaining calendar for two Senior Vice Presidents and their teams.
• Processes expense reports.
• Prepares and drafts routine and advanced correspondence including letters, memoranda, reports, summaries and presentations.
• Responsible for coordinating conference calls among several departments.
• Organizes daily meeting requests and coordinates meetings.
• Plans events and assists with special projects.
• Organizes and maintains electronic/database information and files.
• Arranges and schedules travel and maintains travel calendar.
• Organizes weekly and monthly staff meetings.
• Assists in projects for all department managers to include: presentations, organizational charts, research articles, and maintaining meeting agendas.
• Researches and resolves issues; identifies opportunities for improvement.
Other duties

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Must have the ability to coordinate multiple administrative functions in a fast-paced environment with little supervision.
• Highly proficient in all applications of Microsoft Office including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Must be detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
• Must have the ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a strong work ethic with an ability to take ownership of work.
• Must be able to interact/communicate effectively with other senior management members.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Team player, processes excellent internal communication skills.
• Must be proactive with the ability to manage multiple on-going requests and/or projects.
Education and Experience
• High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of administrative or related experience required.
