Job Summary:
Within the Analysis group of FP&A, responsible for producing and delivering financial analysis to Management at all levels of the organization.
Major Responsibilities:
• Provides comprehensive and complex financial analysis.
• Prepares and provides quality control to the preparation of complex analytical and financial reports and presentations. Makes presentations and recommendation to Sr. Management.
• Requires knowledge of financial applications within FP&A and has an understanding of the data relations and interdependencies.
• Conduct and direct financial-based research and analysis projects.
• Develop, interpret, and implement financial concepts for planning and control.
• Work collaboratively across all FP&A teams, identifying best practices and process efficiencies.
• Provide guidance for junior team members.
May be responsible for the following, depending on area assigned:
• Produce more complex financial reports regarding trends, variances, and profitability and performance measurement. Develops financial modeling, graphing and reporting.
• Prepares complex reconciliations for LATAM and Canada branch entities to align with Hyperion.
• Perform complex research for Lines of Businesses regarding errors in OFSAA Manual Data Loads (MDLs).
• Key participant in the automation of 150 MDLs.
• Key participant in the Management Reporting Transformation Program related to hierarchies, OFSAA and other key process changes.
• Coordinates with Lines of Businesses on requirement changes.
• Enhances the on-going process for streamlined operations.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree with 10+ years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting.
• Strong Presentation & written communication skill.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Access, PowerPoint; ability to model and create complex spreadsheets, look up tables, pivot tables; able to create and run SQL commands and understand/analyze the results.
• Advanced skills in data analysis and design, and data mapping.
• Detail oriented with the ability to work efficiently and independently with little supervision.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under time pressure and handle multiple tasks/projects at the same time.
• Problem resolution experience requiring strong analytical skills, sound judgment and ability to work effectively with clients and technical staff.
• Master's Degree in Finance and/or Accounting a plus
