Job Description
Allstate Business Insurance (ABI) is currently hiringSenior Contact Center Representatives to join our team in Charlotte, NC.The Senior Contact Center Rep is a licensed individual who will answer complex customer inquiries and resolve complex service concerns in order to support customers. Service to customers will include inbound/outbound calls and internal call transfers for cross-sales and up-sales, mail or fax transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Resolve complex questions/issues and refer other inquiries to appropriate areas as needed.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of specific company products in order to portray confidence and credibility to customers and assume ownership.
• Proactively identify and act on cross-selling opportunities in order to increase household penetration and improve customer retention, applying effective selling and influencing techniques.
• Accuracy in processing changes to customer policies which require an agent's license.
• Answer customer inquiries that require an agent's license on coverage, limits and deductibles, and review customer policies, discuss options and update customer policy records.
• Pre-screen for new business during routine customer calls.
• Develop a subject matter expertise and remain current on new marketing campaigns in order to respond appropriately to marketing related inquiries.
Work Schedule:
• Licensing Training (if hired without P&C License): September 14, 2018 | 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Approximately 2 weeks)
• Start Date (if hired with P&C License): September 24, 2018
• Training Schedule: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday-Friday (6-8 weeks)
• Work Schedule: 11:30 am - 8:00 pm, Monday-Friday
Compensation and other relevant information:
• Salary: $35,360 yearly
• Bilinguals (English/Spanish) Encouraged to Apply -$1500 bonus paid after 6 months of employment if hired with an active General Lines Property & Casualty License (license bonus does not apply to Allstate re-hires)
• $1000 bonus paid after 6 months of employment if hired with an active General Lines Property & Casualty License (license bonus does not apply to Allstate re-hires)

Job Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience
• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree a plus
• Property and casualty (P&C) license preferred
• Commercial experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Intermediate MS office Skills
• Internet proficiency required
• Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a plus
