Job Title: CMMS Administrator
Job Summary: The CMMS Administrator demonstrates proficient ability to prioritize, adapt, plan, schedule, implement, communicate, and support individuals and groups to enable others to effectively and efficiently improve performance.
Area of Responsibility:
Work Orders-
Receive and process incoming work orders from the work order system
Main point of contact for work requests from the Service Center and route work orders accordingly
Assess the scope of work and accurately determine what trade specific technician the work order should be assigned to. This may require field inspection of the jobsite to assess conditions and user impact
Support work order completion and closeout and customer acknowledgement of fulfillment
Administrative/Customer Service Support-
Assist with assignment and scheduling of service personnel, or route work to requisite vendors.
Keep customers / requestors informed of the status of work, schedules, completion and closeout, including soliciting feedback from the end user to support continuous improvement
Inform and keep customers appraised of schedule estimates, and any changeReceive and respond to customer concerns and issues in a timely manner
CMMS Administration-
CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) upkeep as directed relating to asset information, bills of materials, safety procedures, preventative maintenance programming and master maintenance planning
Order Processing-
Verify customer and order information for correctness, checking it against previously obtained information as necessary
Direct specified departments or units to prepare and ship orders to designated locations
Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.
Education/training:
High School Degree Required
Trade or Undergraduate education is preferred
Years of relevant experience:
No experience required
1-3 years of applicable experience is desired
Skills and knowledge:
Superior customer service skills and orientation
Strong Attention to detail
Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism at all times
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Possess collaborative working style
Superior ability to plan and manage work, and meet deadlines under minimal supervision
Understanding of Facilities Management trades, common repairs, parts and services
Read, understand, and follow SOP and WI instructions
Computerized maintenance management experience preferred
Other abilities:
Must have good communication skills (written, oral and people skills) to sustain superior customer and team interaction and satisfaction
Ability to expand coworker knowledge base
Certifications/licenses:
No certification required
Physical work requirements and work conditions:
Ability to work extended periods on a computer
