Position Overview
The Certified Scrum Master/Project Management Senior role will be part of Single Family Enterprise Data Delivery in the Information Technology Division at Freddie Mac. For Agile projects, this candidate will perform the duties of a Certified Scrum Master: leading all Agile meetings and ceremonies, acting as Servant Leader to the team to ensure that the team works cohesively together. As Project Manager Senior, the candidate will also be responsible for the planning and execution of IT and/or Business Initiative Projects, lead cross functional teams to achieve project objectives, regularly report on status, and manage projects through the entire project lifecycle. The Project Manager Senior will manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks and issues of the project and act as a leader and mentor to team members.
Responsibilities include:
• Maintaining User Stories in Version One.
• Working with the Product Owner to prioritize User Stories.
• Manage assigned projects and activities from initiation to close-out.
• Support the management and planning of all project components including: scope management, development and management of work plans.
• Defining and delivering individual project deliverables, managing the expectations of all stakeholders, organizing and addressing emerging project requirements, managing project relationships and integration, and managing more than one project team in the delivery of commitments.
• Develop and manage the scope to be delivered through effective expectation setting, communication, change management control, budget control and management.
• Report project progress, issues, and risks through weekly status reports and reporting up to IT and Business management teams.
• Drive detailed execution oversight, status reporting, risk assessment/escalation, budgeting, and resource forecasts and reporting up to IT and Business management teams.
• Work with technical team(s) to assess impact of issues and provide alternative solutions/recovery plans to ensure goals are achieved.
Qualifications
• Certified Scrum Master
• Minimum of 3 years Certified Scrum Master experience with large scale projects.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certified
• Minimum of 5 - 7 years of technical project management experience implementing software development projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar technical degree and/or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience managing multiple, large, cross-functional IT projects.

Preferred Skills
• Mortgage and /or financial services industry experience. (Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac)
• Planview expertise.

• Collaborative, professional / team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Self-directed, with the capability of managing multiple priorities and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time- critical problems.
