Description
The Solutions Manager will collaborate with other members of Trion, including various management and departments, to develop innovative solutions to meet our clients’ and/or internal needs. This person will share expertise, skills and give advice to clients/colleagues with the aim of improving the performance and efficiency of the process; formulate and implement strategies by studying the structure, process, and operations; and provide project management support in order for these solutions to be successfully implemented for the betterment of the organization. This individual will provide guidance to the development of projects, best practices, and methodologies across all internal client delivery and development teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude, but are not limited, to the following:
• Develop and implement standards and best practices that can be applied across clients, processes, proprietary systems, and licensed software applications;
• Work with various departments to create/improve standards, processes, procedures and best practices across the organization;
• Establish and cultivate internal and external relationships to ensure successful project completion;
• Responsible for overall project management of multiple projects, including assisting with the development of formal project plans, leading regularly scheduled meetings, and providing project statuses to appropriate parties;
• Consult on business practices to make recommendations and contribute to business decisions and process improvements;
• Oversee multiple internal and external client projects of various complexity, product development projects and client projects:
◦ Perform scope analysis, issues resolution, risk management, and cost analysis;
◦ Perform root/cause analysis and recommend strategic approaches for short and long term resolution;
• Collaborate with the training team to assist in developing and delivering training to company’s various departments (role specific training, Open Enrollment, new system releases, etc.);
• Actively lead meetings to provide business subject matter expertise for internal departments;
• Participate, in coordination with Human Resources and management, in the assessment of staffing requirements and selection process of new staff;
• Understand, incorporate and enforce the principals of the System Development Life Cycle in all system related projects as assigned;
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, Management Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience is required;
• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience with technical and administrative deliverables is required or equivalent work experience is required;
• Minimum of 5 years of service delivery management work experience required;
• Experience in design and delivery of training activities/initiatives preferred;
• Experience in process improvement/best practices preferred;
• Experience within the health care, health and welfare consulting, insurance brokerage, human resources consulting, and employee benefits industries is required;
• Related exposure to Benefits Administration, COBRA, Spending Accounts, HRIS, and/or Payroll environments is highly preferred.
