Role Responsibilities
• Review, scan, and process applications for all Advanced Market Network life products, including new applications and informal inquiries.
• Coordinate gathering of underwriting requirements by interacting with brokers (primarily with their New Business associates), agents, outside medical vendors, and underwriters.
• Gather and coordinate additional requirements and forms including correct/final illustration and specific forms needed for state of issue.
• Understand how to determine state of issue and send appropriate application packages to brokers upon request.
• Handle initial and downstream accounting entries related to the new business process.
• Process appropriate required state forms and product specific policy delivery requirements.
• Provide excellent day-to-day customer service to brokers and their staff, agents, clients, and Advanced Market Network wholesalers, either over the phone, in person, or through electronic communication.
• Handle case set up and reporting.
• Verify licensing and contracting information.
• Maintain and manage case files.
• Prepare and assemble policy delivery packages.
• Adhere to new business procedures and remain current with changes as they occur.
• Work closely with systems development team, detailing business requirements pertaining to the new business processes.
• Work on special projects as needed (example: drafting and reviewing process and procedure documentation)
• Responsible for ensuring high quality and accuracy in completing and processing cases.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree preferred or a minimum of 3-5 years Insurance industry related experience.
• Complete LOMA 1 and 2 within one year of hire.
• Must either have or be willing to complete FINRA Series 6 within 6 months of hire.
• Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills (including experience working with Word, Excel, Outlook and Access)
• Must be able to work independently AND be a strong team player.
• Must be able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to learn to run life insurance illustrations and understand basic components
• Experience with plan designs helpful (Split Dollar, Deferred Compensation, and 162 Bonus Plans)
