We are seeking a talented, client service focused Receptionist for our Lansing office.
Responsibilities:
• Answers the telephone and greets visitors to the office
• Assists callers/visitors in reaching their intended associate; directs to other associates or takes messages/sends to voicemail as appropriate
• Receives/sends mail and express packages
• Distributes mail to office associates
• Types correspondence, reports and other documents as needed
• Copies and prepares reports and other documents for distribution to clients and associates
• Scans and files documents as needed
• Provides clerical/administrative support for the office
• Coordinates client meetings, including scheduling & preparing conference rooms, ordering lunches, preparing materials, etc.
• Coordinates rental car reservations for office associates
• Orders office supplies and manages vendor relations
• Acts as an office-wide resource to support all associates with client service
Requirements:
• 2+ years in a professional office setting
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel (mail merge, formatting, data entry, etc.).
• Ability to operate switchboard and document production equipment such as copiers, fax machines, scanners, etc.
• Typing speed of 60 wpm or greater
• Ability to multi-task while providing outstanding customer service to external and internal clients
• Ability to display a professional office demeanor and business etiquette
• Willingness to tackle new challenges and projects
• Desire to find new opportunities to bring value to the role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
