Job Description:
At Regions, the Debt Products Organization (DPO) Shared Services Analyst is responsible for supporting teams within the DPO by handling activities common to most/all DPO teams that can be more effectively accomplished in a centralized function. The person in this position is expected to: (1) develop proficient credit and underwriting skills through performing the position’s primary responsibilities/duties and through training provided by Regions; (2) develop relationships with the DPO teams that he/she supports; and (3) join one of those DPO teams after spending demonstrating mastery of responsibilities in Shared Services.
Primary Responsibilities/Duties
• Spreads borrower interim and year-end financial statements in Moody’s Risk Analyst (MRA) (and potentially in other software programs as well, if applicable)
• Tests interim and year-end covenant compliance calculations
• Tests interim and year-end benchmarks (if applicable)
• Spreads and analyzes guarantor financial information
• Prepares risk rating models on borrowers and guarantors
• Prepares Ongoing Monitoring packages and Periodic Assessment packages
• Prepares credit approval packages on large or more complex credit facility renewals, settlement risk renewals, P-card renewals, etc.
• Prepares tenant analysis in CRE transactions (when tenant is not borrower)
This position is incentive eligible.
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree
• Two (2) years' experience in Shared Services Analysis, commercial credit, or underwriting
• Demonstrated mastery of commercial credit analysis skills and ability to spread financial statements and monitor credit information with limited review and oversight

Additional Responsibilities:
• Spreads prospect financial statements for potential new borrowers to Regions
• Review the above work completed by junior analysts for accuracy
• The above duties will be performed for the following portfolios that Charlotte Shared Services supports: Specialized (Energy, Healthcare, Technology & Defense, and Transportation), and Large Corporate
• Completion of a Credit training program desired
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed during peak times, and take initiative in development opportunities during non-peak times
• Ability to coach, train, and mentor junior/new analysts
