ALM Associate Director- Balance Sheet Analytics (IC)
Position Overview

As a(n) Quant Analytics/Model Development Consultant within PNC's Assets & Liabilities Management organization, you will be based in New York, NY.
We are seeking the following background and qualifications:
• Stellar academic background from a reputed institution/s on any one or a combination of Statistics, Econometrics, Quantitative Risk, and Risk Modeling.
• Experience in any of the regulatory driven Balance Sheet Modeling, PPNR/Income Statement Modeling, Risk Capital Modeling initiatives covering Basel, CCAR and CECL
• Savvy in the use of technology programming tools and data platforms for the purposes of data analysis and model building. Programming tools include SAS, R, Python,..
• Effective communication skills with an ability to collaborate with both internal and external stake holders including, model owners, lines of business, model risk management teams and regulators.
• Self-starter with innovative mindset to come up with creative but yet robust and sound modeling solutions to meet the regulatory demands of the Bank.
Job Profile
• Utilizes financial analysis, research, and reporting to facilitate business strategy, process improvements, and remediation activities. Participates in stress testing efforts
• Based on own discretion, researches and collects information for PNC's balance sheet.
• Analyzes, reviews and presents risk analytics/stress testing material including documentation and templates to senior team members.
• Partners with lines of business in understanding specific line items of PNC's balance sheet and income statement. Reconciles and performs quality review of data and may work with various review teams, including model risk management, internal and external audit and regulators
• Facilitates business strategy, process improvements and remediation activities

Required Education and Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
