Responsibilities:
Manage the placement of commercial clients business to best cover exposures with the broadest terms at the most competitive costs
Review and analyze policies on all assigned accounts by spread sheeting coverage and premium comparisons for each renewal.
Understand our clients/prospects risk and exposures
Educate our key clients on our unique marketing approach
Provide leadership to the marketing specialists / associates / assistants
Performance Expectations
Achieve Renewal Retention of 94%
Strive to consistently rate a "4" on Performance Management Review
Participate in all assigned internal pre-renewal strategy sessions, using the "Critical Path" at least four months prior to renewal
Develop, discuss and assist in tracking the placement for all accounts outside of the Small Business Segment with assigned producers and the Critical Path assigned accounts with our partner carriers
Focus on Customer Engagement
Focus on Employee Engagement
Develop and Maintain strong working relationships with our partner carriers
Deliver Marketing Effort, Proposal Document and Coverage Comparison with Account Executive to Client or Prospect for all assigned accounts
Always recommend additional coverage or other lines of business
Independently manage a full marketing workload for both new and renewal business
Notify CMO of any lost business or accounts at risk as well as any renewal projected to reduce revenue by more than $1,000.
Qualifications
High degree of insurance technical knowledge - 5 yrs. minimum
Excel spreadsheet competency
Organized
Negotiation skills; critical thinking skills
Presentation skills; verbal and written communication skills
Team oriented - ability to establish and maintain working relationships.
Time Management Skills - ability to delegate and prioritize
Continued focus on growing in insurance knowledge and education
