Job Description
Visa Inc. Global Marketing & Communications is searching for a Senior Director of Marketing Science. The selected candidate will lead the establishment of a Center of Excellence in marketing measurement and science on behalf of our global marketing function.

Insights are a foundational element of our success. We partner within Visa and with our agencies on sophisticated measurement and analysis toward more effective advertising and communications. The desire is to build a best in class analytics capability that demonstrates value back to Visa on a global scale.
Reporting directly to the Head of Business Analytics for Global Marketing, this role will:
• Lead development and socialization of best-in-class approaches to marketing insights and campaign measurement and attribution, incorporating the highest levels of rigor and reliability
• Partner with centralized Global Data Science team to develop methodologies for measuring causal ROI of novel marketing tactics and strategies
• Manage and maintain a global marketing analytics research agenda that leverages local campaigns to inform impactful global learnings
• Ensure Visa’s marketing measurement / analytics tools and platforms reflect the best and most appropriate solutions available
• Serve as a key point of contact with measurement teams within our agencies and other partners
Qualifications
Experienced, results-oriented leader with at least 10 years of marketing science / measurement experience with a proven track record of developing insights and driving business outcomes with large brands.
• Experience working with global companies / brands
• Substantial experience developing marketing analytics and measurement best practices, particularly in settings where novel approaches and experimental designs are required
• Experience using both popular marketing and general analytics tools
• Ability to draw valid statistical inferences from large datasets
• Equally comfortable designing controlled experiments and opportunistically leveraging natural experiments
• Outstanding communications skills - including oral, written, and presentation development and delivery to all levels of stakeholders
